THE COW WHO RAN OUT   OF MILK

There was a very hard working cow.  She had a very busy job to do at the farm. Her job was to make milk for people.

One day there was a problem. First, the cow was really busy working. Then the farmer started to milk her. Next, the cow ran out of milk.  After that the farmer tried to milk her but nothing came out.  Finally, the cow decided to have another baby calf. And then she had more milk. Then the farmer tried to milk her again. And it worked again.

He’s going to make sure the cow has babies from now on.  The farmer said, “She’ll have to have another baby.  Then she’ll have more milk.”
