Response To Literature Essay

(Writing to Analyze)

I read a biography called Jackie Robinson by M. Scaefer. He was a famous baseball player Jackie Robinson was a hard worker. Jackie Robinson was brave.

Jackie Robinson was a hard worker. He worked, got money, and  bought food and clothes for his family. He left college to earn more money for his family.  I think Jackie Robinson was a hard worker because he left college to earn more money.

Also, Jackie Robinson was brave. Jackie played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for ten years even though people didn’t like him because he was African American. He was proud of  himself and his family. In 1947 he became the first African American player on a major league team. “His first year as a Dodger was hard. Many people were unkind, even so, Jackie played his best.”  I think he was brave because he never gave up.

In conclusion, Jackie Robinson was a hard worker and Jackie Robinson was brave  I will work hard at my job and never give up like Jackie Robinson.  Now anyone can play any sport.
