Reports:
Writing to Inform
Dedicated to my teacher Ms. Sclafani
Our
second grade class has been studying the human body. We each chose one or two
body parts to write our report on. I
chose muscles which are a part of the Muscular System. First, I will explain how the body part works.
Then, I will teach how to keep the body part healthy.
First,
how do the muscles work? Your
brain sends a message and tells your muscles what to do.
Your muscles pull down your skeleton to make you bend.
They are stretchy parts of your body.
When you bend, your muscle get shorter and thicker.
When you straighten, your muscle stretches long and flat.
I think muscles are amazing because they help you move.
Now, how can you keep your muscles healthy,? To have healthy muscles…move, eat veggies, use your muscles all
the time, and don’t be lazy. I
realize that when you run and eat healthy food, your muscles will be healthy.
First, I explained how
the muscles work.
Then, I taught how the to keep
your muscles healthy. Now that I know how to keep my muscles healthy, I
will use them all the time, because If I don’t use them, then my muscles will
get weak. I think everyone should
move cause if you don’t move, your muscles won’t work right.
Don’t be lazy watching TV. Move
and be active all the time so you’ll be healthy and your muscles will be too.
