Ms. Robinson's Music Page

Ms. Robinson's class has written a musical composition called "Concerto for Flute and Rhythm Band." The students in the class wrote all of the rhythm parts for the "Rhythm Band." First, they each wrote a rhythm part that was 4 measures long. Then, each group--Introduction, Part A, Part B, or Ending (Coda)--copied their parts onto a Master sheet. Then, each student chose which rhythm instrument they wanted their part to sound like. We then entered their notes into our music software using a keyboard and computer. Finally, Mr. M put the "solo" part into the music.
